LGMD2D Foundation

The LGMD2D Foundation is a U.S. based, non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation with the mission to expedite the development of treatment options and a cure for Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2D / R3 (LGMD2D).

Formed in September 2013, the foundation focuses on educating patients, caregivers and physicians on LGMD2D, maintains an international patient registry, funds innovative research and monitors progress of trials. Standing by our mission, the LGMD2D Foundation builds partnerships to encourage scientific collaboration and provides financial support to conduct new research and accelerate clinical trials.
