Duchenne Ireland

Duchene Ireland is a patient organization and registered Irish Charity (CHY 18197) established to facilitate funding translational research into Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. Duchene Ireland is affiliated with numerous patient groups and clinical, research and support networks for DMD. Duchene Ireland works internationally to rapidly advance research into Duchene and welcomes organization, parents and supporter who believe they can help to forward progress in this research.

The organisation aims to raise awareness of Duchene Muscular Dystrophy at local, national and government level. Their objective is to raise funds which directly goes to the researchers and clinicians who are seen to have the best chance of developing improved therapies which will benefit this generation whilst developing an infrastructure which will be on a par with the best international practice.

Duchene Ireland is an inclusive group dedicated to making sure fast progress is made in relation to therapies for those with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. They welcome help, cooperation and sponsorship from all researchers, clinicians, organizations, businesses and individuals.
