The University Hospital for Active Treatment (Hospital) Alexandrovska was established in 1879.

The mission of the hospital carried out in accordance with the legislation in the country, international health agreements and conventions, the basic principles enshrined in the National Health Strategy and the ethical code of the professional organization of physicians in Bulgaria still remains to this day…

• Access to clinics of the hospital are all citizens of Bulgaria, regardless of their nationality, profession or religion;
