Update in Neuromuscular Disorders (Monday 28th – Thursday 30th April 2020)
The Multi-disciplinary Management of the Neuromuscular Baby and Infant with Severe Complex Needs (Friday 1st May)
This clinical course concentrates on childhood and adult neuromuscular disorders with an emphasis on clinical cases, natural history and management. This four day course is designed for specialists with an interest in neuromuscular disease; the first two days concentrating on paediatric neuromuscular disorders and the latter two days on adult neuromuscular disorders.
This year we are adding on an additional paediatric physiotherapy day organised by Marion Main from Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The neuromuscular child with severe complex needs course looks at the multi-disciplinary approach to the weakest of babies and children both in the UK and from Europe; including respiratory management, augmented communication, therapies and palliative care
