The Dystroglycanopathies: 2022 Iowa Wellstone Center Patient & Family Conference

The 2022 Wellstone conference is open to all patients, family members, and medical professionals who wish to connect with others in the community, and learn more about the dystroglycanopathies- including LGMDR9 (LGMD2i), Fukuyama CMD, Walker-Warburg Syndrome, Muscle Eye Brain Disease, and other types of dystroglycan-related muscular dystrophies. The conference will consist of talks and Q&A’s with expert physicians, bench researchers, pharmaceutical representatives, patient advocates, and others. Talks range from discussions of gene therapy, to coping with muscular dystrophy, and many things in between.
