Vincent Jacquemond

Vincent Jacquemond, PhD, is a Research Director for the The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), leader of the group ‘Excitability and Ca2+ signalling in normal and diseased skeletal muscle’ at the Institut NeuroMyoGène (University of Lyon). His research is focused on the cellular physiology of ion channels, Ca2+ signalling and excitation-contraction coupling in skeletal muscle, with a specific interest for how these mechanisms are altered in disease situations such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy, ryanodine receptor-related diseases or centronuclear myopathies.
