Sylvain graduated in 2002 of a PhD in Cell Physiology from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris) working on the identification and characterisation of new genes involved in adipose tissue metabolism using differential display methods.
Then, he started a post-doctoral position in Oncology Department at Sanofi-Aventis aiming at the high-scale identification of differentially expressed genes from various angiogenesis models using microarray technology.
Finally, he started to work for PartnerChip in 2005 and he is now in charge of the implementation of new technologies in the lab, the analysis of large genomic data and R&D projects.
Sylvain is in charge of the implementation of Nimblegen technology in the lab. As PartnerChip is involved as a facility for partners from the consortium that do not have Nimblegen technology and expertise in microarray, he will be interacting and collaborating with other lab members to help carry through all experimental steps.
