Rachel is the Executive Director for Cure CMD, a USA-based non-profit organization focused on congenital muscular dystrophy. Cure CMD is also the managing partner for the Congenital Muscle Disease International Registry. Rachel was diagnosed at a very early age with an unspecified CMD, finally confirmed in 2009. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic University, and spent her career working in healthcare finance, operations, and non-profits prior to joining Cure CMD in 2012.
