Menno van der Holst, PhD, is a pediatric physiotherapist and senior researcher with a special interest in both clinical care and research in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He is working for the Duchenne Center Netherlands and has collaborated with all Academic Medical Centers and most Rehabilitation centers in The Netherlands to standardize measuring functional outcome.

He is also involved in creating a Dutch Rehabilitation Guideline for DMD based on the international standards of care but providing more specific insight and recommendations for rehabilitation specialist (including physiotherapists) for the care of patients with DMD.
