Dr. Harumasa NAKAMURA has been practicing as a physician and neurologist for almost 20 years. He served Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency as a reviewer 2005-2006 and 2012-2014. He visited the Institute of Human Genetics, Newcastle University, U.K as visiting researcher 2011-2012 and has an ongoing collaboration for Orphan drug development.
Since 2014, he has been working in his current position and handling several projects including the area of orphan drug, regulatory science, patient registry, infrastructure for new drug development, and clinical neurology. He is a member of TREAT-NMD Global Data systems Oversight Committee (TGDOC) as a members of the TGDOC Publications Committee, and is also a principal investigator of ‘REMUDY’, the Japanese patient registry for neuromuscular disorders.
